Pam Price from Priceless Beauty in Toronto tells me it's ok to wear highlighter in every aspect of my life in this video.
BUT FIRST - A hilarious story about me looking like an idiot: One time I went on camera with white concealer on my eyelids as eyeliner. This was not a joke and there's a story behind it, that story is for another time. No one told me how bad it looked until one honest Youtube commenter wrote "what the fuck is wrong with this girl's make up?" (The video still exists, good luck finding it!) I also used to have really horrible blonde in my hair, again no one said ANYTHING about this.
I've come a long way since then, but it doesn't hurt to keep learning, right?!
Fun fact: I met Pam more than 10 years ago when we were both care-free Red Bull girls. Today she is an amazing make up artist who just won Make Up Specialist of the Year at the Toronto Beauty and Hair Awards!
She is going to be answering my questions (and yours) about the wonderfully fun world of make up! Here she tells us how to wear highlighter at the beach.
Some tips from Pam re: highlighter going into summer:
1. There is no such thing as too much highlighter
2. The high points of your face are: cheekbones, brow bones, cupid's bow and the bridge of your nose: highlight these
3. Don't be afraid to experiment with colours and to bring the product down onto your collar bone What do you want her to answer next? Let us know in the comments below.
